Youth Parliament is the foremost program for young people who are active and passionate about issues which affect our community and society. It caters for all between the ages of 15 and 25, no matter their background or political persuasion.
Knowledge of politics or parliamentary procedures isn't required to participate in the program - two of our core goals are to bring a working knowledge of Australian politics to those who participate, and to provide them with the opportunity to make their mark within our political system. We'll teach participants anything they need to know; the only prerequisite is an interest in or opinion on issues facing our society.
To get involved, go to the Contact page and drop us a line, or e-mail JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING
The YP program can also accommodate teams of participants who have a common interest or background. For example, we welcome teams from regional centres and particular interest groups (such as student groups and political parties). If you are interested in sending a whole team to YP please contact the Admin team at JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING
